Smart Energy GB in Communities – grant funding now available
EAS believes that smart metering has the potential to provide real benefits for vulnerable and low-income householders, but only if these individuals are effectively engaged and supported throughout the smart meter journey. We are once again working with our sister organisation NEA to engage some of the most vulnerable and hard to reach communities in the smart meter rollout.
This year’s Smart Energy GB in Communities programme targets support and grant funding at people who are offline or on a low income, aiming to raise awareness and understanding of smart meters and how people might benefit from them. If your organisation works with these target groups, you can get guidance and can apply here: SEGB Smart Fund – NEA.
The grant funding opens to online applications today and closes at 12noon on Friday 12 February.
